How does this postcode check work?
Radon Map Check validates the format of a UK postcode in your browser. Format validation does not confirm that an address exists. No lookup service, radon atlas or location database is connected.
All entries with a valid-looking format open the same demonstration. The fictional 3–5% example is unrelated to your postcode and must not be used for a property decision.

What do the UK map percentages mean?
Official map bands describe estimated proportions of homes above the domestic Action Level. Radon Map Check does not supply the geographic data for these bands.

What uncertainty remains?
Indoor radon depends on the ground and the building. Nearby homes can differ, and indoor levels vary over time. A postcode, map square or neighbour's result does not replace testing your building.
